IRGiT allows Clearing House Members to estimate and forecast the amounts of Forward Margin required by IRGiT through the use of the IRGiT Margin Calculator.
The calculator supports both approximate calculation of the Forward Margin currently required by the Clearing House as well as simulations concerning the predicted deposit amounts depending on changes in clearing prices. The amount of Forward margin is set for a Clearing House Member in accordance with the regulations in effect in the Clearing and Settlement House.
IRGiT notes that the simulation results are provided for illustrative purposes only and must not be treated as the ultimate Forward Margin requirements calculated by the Clearing House.
