- As of 30 September 2023, the current President of the Management Board of IRGiT, Andrzej Kalinowski, will cease to serve on the Board.
- On 26 July 2023 the Shareholder Meeting of IRGiT appointed the current Vice-President of the Management Board, Łukasz Goliszewski, as President of the Management Board.
- Łukasz Goliszewski will take office as of 1 October 2023.
The resigning President, Andrzej Kalinowski, has been involved in the capital market since 1990, and with the Towarowa Giełda Energii S.A. Group since 2006. He co-founded Izba Rozliczeniowa Giełd Towarowych S.A., where he served as Director of the operations department - Clearing and Settlement Department, and later as Management Board Member (since 2012), and - since 2017 - as President of the Management Board. During this time, IRGiT has established its position in the electricity and gas market, implementing a number of successful projects, constantly expanding the catalog of cleared instruments, and successively increasing the value of cleared transaction volumes.
Łukasz Goliszewski has been with IRGiT since the beginning of his career. From 2010 to 2015 he held expert positions in the Risk Management Department, from 2015 he was Deputy Director of the Department, and from 2017 he served as Director of the Department. As of 2018, he additionally served as Director for International Cooperation. During this period, he was chairman of the Risk Committee in IRGiT, a member of the Examination Committee for commodity broker candidates at Towarowa Giełda Energii S.A., and IRGiT's Representative to the Risk Committee and Policy Committee of the European Association of Clearing Houses EACH.
In April 2019, he was appointed by the IRGiT Supervisory Board as Vice-President of the Management Board. Since May 2020 he has served as Treasurer at EACH.
Łukasz Goliszewski is a graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and the Faculty of Mathematics, IT and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw. He completed Postgraduate Studies in Risk Management in Financial Institutions at the Warsaw School of Economics. He is a licensed commodities broker.
