Starting from 8th of September 2025, the central bank of the Republic of Poland (Narodowy Bank Polski), as the operator of SORBNET – a real-time gross settlement system – will implement a new system through which interbank settlements for payments in Polish zloty will be executed: SORBNET3.
Therefore, from 8th of September 2025 all payments made by IRGiT in cooperation with BPI (Settlement Bank) and BPCI/BPUI (Clearing Banks) concerning cash settlement for the delivery of transactions concluded on TGE commodity market, settlement of financial instruments and collateral margin updates, will be carried out through the new SORBNET3 system.
